Our galleries are re-opening

 
We are delighted to announce that the Granary and Gymnasium Galleries will be re-opening this month as follows:

Open from 22 May (Open Tuesday - Sunday 11am-4pm plus Bank Holidays)

In order to safely re-open have carried out risk assessments for visitors and staff and these are regularly reviewed to take into account the latest guidance from the government and Public Health England in relation to Covid-19.
 
This means that the folllowing procedures are now in place in the gallery:

Visitors can book a specific timeslot to visit the gallery via the links above  and will be given priorty entry to the exhibition.

We also welcome visitors who haven't booked in advance, but they may need to queue if the gallery has reached capacity and we will also need to take contact details from those visitors for NHS Test and Trace. Your details will only be kept for 21 days and we will only share them with NHS Test and Trace if asked, in the event of a fellow visitor testing positive for coronavirus.

  • At The Granary Gallery we will have one visitor toilet open, but this maybe closed for short periods for cleaning. There are no toilet facilities at the Gymnasium Gallery

Hand sanitisers will be available for use when visitors enter and exit the gallery.

Visitors must wear a face covering in the gallery, unless you are exempt

There will be a one-way system in place for movement around the gallery.

Visitors will be requested to follow current social distancing guidance when in the gallery. 

Gallery staff will be undertaking increased cleaning procedures throughout the day including door handles and other surfaces.

Gallery staff may be wearing PPE equipment including Face Visors and / or mask. 

  • Merchandise sales will be by card only and we won't accept cash.

Please don’t visit the gallery if you are showing Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus, and follow NHS coronavirus guidelines.
